I use to struggle with the idea of discovering my purpose as far back as a teenager. We were told how miserable life would be for us if we don’t discover our purpose. I use to think God wrote it down somewhere for me to discover.
Little did I know that my purpose is what I say it is. Your purpose isn’t written anywhere for you to discover.
You are your purpose. I understand that sometimes we could be confused on what really we should focus and pursue in our lives.
Here are some questions to help you gain clarity
- What do you care about?
- What gets you worried?
- What gets you angry?
- What situations makes you cry
- What irritates you?
Your purpose is embedded in answering these questions.
Sometimes those things, situations, products, service or circumstances that makes you worried or angry are silently lying in your passion!
Don’t follow your passion. Invest in your passion and let your passion pay. To sustain living in your purpose, your passion must pay!
I will be discussing how your purpose should be paying you in another post. Stay tuned.
